I KNOW how they are coming along (cause I am Laurie), slowly. I have to keep chilling and cutting and baking.

and i'm wondering if they could be made with peppermint extract rather than schnaaps because I have some of that......

Laurie is here (briefly while dough is chilling) and those aren't the schnapps ones. I can't find the recipe and now I don't have enough schnapps anyway!

TPBM didn't notice that I forgot to say TPBM the last time!

LOL.. will mine do in a pinch... I think it would work!

TPBM will be sad to know that the poor guy had to call a tow truck
Though he doesn't look very stuck to me and I'm pretty sure Paul could "unstick" him if he were here.

No, my oven is doing just fine to keep me warm

TPBM can remind me next time that these bittersweet chocolate peppermint shortbread sandwich cookies are as complicated to make as their name.
