Thankyou for your hug deelady I really needed it... I posted a message to expatgirl who asked who I was and what I did for a living and any interest's of mine, and I just could'nt believe myself writting away all about myself. I have now established (this is my first week)permanent dayshift at my employment so am no longer on rotating 24hr shifts Enrolled Nurse at an Aged Care facility where I've been employed with for the last 5yrs. I can now have a little more of a life but hey that did'nt stop them calling me on my day off and ask me to come to work because no other nurses were available to work today including any registered nurses. I had to clamp down and say No I need my time off, that was pretty hard because I find saying No very difficult. So your hug means alot, and yeah today I really miss my mum who I always thought of as a big sister and best friend rolled into one..... We have a simillar show on our screens here and it can be a real tear jerker especially because you get to glimpse inside someone's life and see the struggles they have endured and how wonderful humanity is when everyone pull's together to help each other for the better good. You know I don't really know how to start a thread but one I think may be of interest is " movies that make you cry even though you know you will cry and try not to, you do anyway" for me everytime I watch that Bette Middler movie where her best friend passes away from cancer and Bette get's to tell her friends daughter how wonderful their friendship as children were does it each and everytime to me, my husband takes the mickey out of me each time, saying you have seen this before how can it still have the same effect, I tell myself I know, and now he just waits at the right words that does it to me in the movie and hands me the tissues, afterwards when it's over I can laugh but at that time no matter how hard I try I can't help myself. If I hold off it's worse so I just let it out and laugh about it later. I love getting your messages you have a kind heart, when you get to read this feel my heart's smile upon you and my prayers to keep you and your family safe and well today Ciao Bella.

Hi there! I just read your post in "I remember" and I just wanted to come give you a {{{hug}}}!
Hope you are doing well, I've been wanting to reply to your last message but have just gotten to sit down with out interruption!
I don't know what hospitals are like there or in other parts of the world but while there ARE some impressive hospitals here I wouldn't imagine them to be much different than elsewhere...
I am currently watching this show that keeps making me cry over and over again! Its called Extreme Home makeover and they just built a house from scratch for a family that was running a daycare for families that cant afford to pay and running a in home community closet where they were collecting items for needy families....their home was infested top to bottom with mold and were on the verge of being shut down...Extreme Makeover torn down their house and built this unbelievable home complete with daycare! So touching!!

Well lady hope you are doing great, chat with you very soon!!

Hello deelay guess what boy's are away and I can play on computer funny I bought this wizz bang computer for ME as a gift to myself when I graduated completing a diploma but who get's to use it THE BOYS LoL I live for my family and love them to bits but sometimes it's nice to be selfish. We have currently renovated outside of our home and once the inside is done I'd like a small nook which shelves all my books and my own computer, sewing machine, and choice of music UP LOUD. It only took 15 years to get the outside done I suppose I can wait a little longer who knows maybe son will move out. No 1 son has gone just have to wait a little while longer for No 2. The problem is they move out then move back in it's a wonder we did'nt include a revolving front door when we originally built our place. You lived in California well my Hubby has a first cousin who has moved to California and has been there for approx 5yrs He is a Radiologist in a Hospital. The United States is a massive country I would love to visit one day, I've travelled Europe as you do when your young and did'nt mind roughing it but now I'm older I like to travel a little more in comfort class. My husband has purchased himself his dream machine on 4 wheels and has declared we will travel in it around Australia on retirement ,who knows I'm still too young to retire ( born in 63) I would love to see the America's first and see how your hospitals are InAustralia we have puplic health funded by our Government for all citizen's and private health paid by consumers wishing to choose there own Medico's and Hospitlof choice and currently my private health fund cost's our family 2,000 dollars a year which is subsidised by the Government with a tax rebate I know it cost's a great deal in The United States for families and this really facinates me because the hospitals must all be top notch over there. I ramble don't I oops sorry any way have a wonderful day be safe and happy hugs to you and smiles form sunny south Australia Ciao for now.

Thanks for your request for friendship deelady i hope I've correctly followed the links, i'm sorry I've taken so long to reply day off today dropped youngest son to friend for sleepover with his mates, hubby and I selected couple of movies from the video store one a Steven King story, The Mist and the other American Gangster very enjoyable. We cranked the heater up as it's bitterly cold at this time and tucked into a rissotto I made a couple of days ago, let's say I did as hubby never chooses to eat left overs. He on the other hand had a couple of crumpets. I suppose you are right the world would still be dangerous but you have to admit it would be funny and its pretty hard to continue fighting if you are laughing..... eventually you have to eat.I'm sorry we are on different times being across the world but I will look and join in when I can, unfortunately my work is 24hrs and my shifts rotate, tomorrow is Sunday here and I return to afternoon shift, it's a real bugger as I'm always the nurse incharge being on the longest shift and I pray for safe ones. Deelady look after yourself and family and hope to talk to you soon, okay ciao for now.

Sounds like a plan although I'm sure it would still be a very dangerous world....could get quite slippery and hazardous with all those food fights! :-)

Dearest deelady no way was you message sappy, just imagine if food was used instead of weapons, not only would it be a hilarious food fight but you could eat too. Seriously though, I believe food sympolises unity, it pleases the senses and delights the mind.
