    Fine Cooking Annual Cookbook!

AHHHHHHHHH!!! Now I understand what you all are talking about!!! The previous annual are basically the year's magazines bound together into one book!! I have a couple of years of Cook's Illustrated that are bound that way. The "Annual Cookbook" is different, it has all year's recipes reprinted...

    What's next on your wishlist?

Hey Corey123, sorry about your debit card nightmare. Same thing happened to me with my CC. It WAS a nightmare!! But.... it's like an addiction for me, I HAVE to shop there!! I have had other CCs cancelled for the same reason, hackers breaking into databases. I do understand how upset...

    What's next on your wishlist?

PytnPlace: Have you tried Home Goods or TJ Maxx? Sometimes they have LeCruiset dutch oven for incredible prices. I also picked two up for 1/2 price at one of the semi-annual William Sonoma sales. They were just sitting there on the "bargain table" begging me to take them home

    Fine Cooking Annual Cookbook!

Thanks for the heads up, CandoCook! I have every issue of the magazine, but I'd love to get a hardcover annual for any previous years. I looked them up on Amazon, but the only hardcover cookbook was the annual I already have. Do you have the link where I could get them online? BTW - here...

    Fine Cooking Annual Cookbook!

Just a heads up, Fine Cooking just published their first annual cookbook. It has all the best recipes from 2006 in one hardcover cookbook. No articles, just recipes, but there are small tip and technique boxes throughout. Got it at Costco for $19.99 IT IS AWESOME!!!!

    The Best Kitchen Tool

I can't say that I have an absolute favorite, but these are the few things I CANNOT live without: Shun 6 in. Chef's Knife - A sharp knife that is small enough that I don't cut myself, fits perfectly in my hand - gotta love it! Braun Mixer/Immersion Blender/Mini Food Processor - I use it...

    Butter Crock? Butter Bell?

I have a butter bell, been using it for years. It really does work to keep the butter pliable and fresh for much longer than just keeping it out on the counter. As for TJ Maxx, that place is dangerous, as far as I am concerned. Has anyone ever tried HOME GOOD?!?!?! They are the same company...

    SMALL Kitchen

Another step forward in my (seemingly) never ending attempt at finding storage for all my kitchen "stuff"..... My Dining Room is a few steps away from the Kitchen. Originally it was a bedroom with built-in cabinets along an entire wall, floor to ceiling. A few people in our neighborhood...

Just Got Back from CIA Boot Camp!

The housing wasn't included, unfortunately.... BUT, you don't have to worry about meals  ! We went with two other friends, a mother and daughter team. So we shared a Marriot Residence Inn suite, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The college has a listing of hotel rooms where you get a...

Just Got Back from CIA Boot Camp!

I'll answer any questions anyone has! I wish I could tell you all how wonderful of an experience this was. The first day, when we were learning how to cut a mango and a pineapple correctly or learning the difference between all the different cuts used in traditional cooking, I thought it was...
