Just a tip. This 85 yr old lady gave me a few of her secrets and one of them was to put a few drops of vanilla in any of your sweet pickles and it gives them a yummy buttery flavor. She knew what she was talking about. She made her living for many years saleing her can goods.

I freeze my herb leaves and then put them in a pint or quart jar then I seal it with my vacum sealer. i then store the jar in the freezer. It works really well.

I do not know if you can freeze garlic but I do know that you can freeze ramps. They are related. I would think you could.
