Steer away from the Char-broil and Master Forge Units, very low quality parts. Weber is a good choice. The Char-Broil Red's "U-emiter will only last about a year.

It is made my Members Mark (Grand Hall Manufacturing of China). Its not a bad grill actually. The only draw back is that it is made from lower quality steel. High and even heating.

I also had this grill, it workd pretty good, the only pain came when you had to clean it. Soeaking it in water helped afterwards. Also I lined the bottom of mine with foil.
Cast iron is a no no. It can scratch cooktop.
Other than that, any smooth botto pan is just fine.
I pull dishes out of the oven all of the time and put them on the top. No harm done.
Organic for some items, search for "top foods to buy organic".
Only buy these foods organic as they have the highest pesticide content.
Organic meat and dairy are much higher quality.
