    Breakfast forum

Same thing when I was a kid. I remember being called in for supper on a cool fall evening and sitting down to pancakes, eggs and sausage links. Really hit the spot and was always a fun suprise. I'll suprise my own kids from time to time with that meal for supper and it's always a big hit.

    Is this still edible?

Let's face it. You're talking about mac 'n cheese. Throw it out! Unless you're desperate, homeless and eating out of garbage cans, I can't see any sense in eating something that sat out all night. No matter how much it costs (and really, how much can mac 'n cheese cost). Why take the risk.

    Famous Daves BBQ

I agree! I prefer mine as well. I do a lot of pulled pork. Usually apply 4-5 hours of smoke and keep my smoker no higher than 205. I usually figure between 2 and 2-1/2 hours per pound, depending on amount and size of the butts. I pull at an internal of 190. My experience has been that pulling...

    Famous Daves BBQ

Andy, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. I don't think restaurants get away much at all. If people don't like a particular restaurant they don't come back. If enough people don't come back or the restaurant gets a bad reputation it doesn't stay in business long. Not every...

How many ppl will this Boston butt feed?

Hi Andy, Wow! What Weber do you have and how old. I used to own a 3 burner Genesis before buying their Summit model. I had no problem controlling the heat and could easily keep the grill below 250 with one burner. I did a lot of indirect cooking at lower temps.

Paint inside my grill is peeling

I had the same reaction as rest of you when I first noticed what appeared to be peeling paint. As we now all know it's not paint at all and really doesn't much effort to get rid of it. I personally think using a pressure washer is a bit much and unnecessary. Depending on the size of the...

    Famous Daves BBQ

I went to a Famous Dave's in Cedar Falls, Iowa and it was fabulous. There were six of us and everyone loved the food. In fact there was a waiting line 10 feet out the door when we left. I was told that was normal for a Saturday evening. The service was also great.

    Website Down

I just joined this forum a couple of days ago and really enjoy the info and discussion here. One thing I noticed, though, is that the site seems to be down a lot. Once yesterday and then again today. I know it's not my ISP because I have no problem getting into other sites at the same time. Is...

The best grill I ever bought

I purchased the Summit Gold D6 two years ago when I built a new deck and love it. I ordered the natural gas model and ran a gas line out to the deck, which is so nice not having to worry about running low on LP or switching tanks during the middle of cooking. It comes with plenty of hose so I...

    LP or NG

If someone has the opportunity to go with NG it makes no sense to me why anyone would go with LP. The convenience factor alone is out weighs any cons; and I can't think of any cons of going with NG. I switched to NG 8 years ago and love it. Bubbagump
