    Hi From NW New Jersey

Our DS lives over there...up around Wood Dale, north of Stroudsburg, and our DD just moved from Henryville to Richmond, VA. I do a lot of shopping along 611, though it's getting worse, traffic-wise, all the time.

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! 66, I just noticed your signature...NOT FAIR; this kind of weather makes me want to make COOKIES! Guess I'll just have to do that...and hope the power stays on, since I can't manage to lug that generator around. That will wreak havoc on our diets, unless I...

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Thanks, SixSix210. I see you're moving south. What's the matter, don't you like all this ice? We're losing huge branches out of our trees today. It says the temp is up to 36º, but the trees are still loaded with ice...as are the gutters, which is why I've been shoveling (literally)...

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Katie E, I collect all kinds of dolls (unfortunately!), but right now, the Helen Kish Riley & Friends are front & center. That changes, though, and my favorites are really babies. I have some really realistic ones. Who says reading isn't fattening? It MAKES me have to go eat...especially...

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Well...it might be more accurate! It "sounds" (Joisey) as if you're from Bergen County...where my GD lives. Am I right?

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Sorry this is so late, but I have been too busy to get back here. We live up by the Delaware Water Gap, near I-80. New Brunswick is a BUSY place, with too much traffic for me! Traffic is one of the reasons we moved out to the country several years ago.

    Stuffing/Dressing Poll

Well, after looking all over, I could no longer find the Kellogg's boxed mix, so I ended up using Pepperidge Farm's Herb mix. It was just as good, but I had to figure out how much to use...instead of pouring the whole box in the bowl.

    Hi From NW New Jersey

Hi Everyone, I stumbled across this site while looking for an answer to how long butter could be kept in the refrigerator. It sure looks as if there are a multitude of ideas about that! Guess we'll just use what we've got, as long as it doesn't smell. As you can probably tell from my...

    Stuffing/Dressing Poll

I use the boxed, seasoned breadcube mix and add fried, bulk sausage, onions & celery to it. Then I stuff the bird...at both ends. Since we haven't had Thanksgiving dinners here, for a few years, I end up taking the finished bird to one of my kids' houses for the holiday. This year, I'll be...
