Vegemite is my choice every time. To use it don't spread, dab. Thick toast with butter melting into it, then just dab a little here and there. Heaven. A sandy, dabbed with vegemite, and lots iceburg lettuce. Paradise. A bit in the gravy, a bit in the meatballs, a bit in the cottage pie...

Or add eggs to the mash to make it go souffle ish

Now Thats clever Vera. I quite like the idea of mashed pumpkin or Kumara. (sweet potato). Or a medley of mashed stuff, pumpkin, kumara, turnip, parsnip etc. It could be quite fun to line the dish with sliced taties.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't use the lettuce washing water to wash chicken either. LOL
