I am a mother of 4, grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6 - scary, isn't it?
I want to bring back some of the old family dishes which were the foundation of my my cooking experience - things like rice pudding, roast meat with the vegetables in the roasting pan, home-made ice-cream and yummy cookies, squares and cakes which my mother used to make, and I did also as a non-working mother when my children were small. Now-a-days working mums dont have the time to read long-winded recipes, let alone make the dishes, so I try to offer the same result for much less time and effort.
Cooking (of course), reading, knitting, cats, food, people, talking......
