    Tablet computers vs. Kindle Fire

Just use something like this AT&T Coverage Viewer all carriers have it. I googled "AT&T coverage checker"

    Tablet computers vs. Kindle Fire

You can get Pages for $9.99 which is the mac equivalent but it does allow you to save in a .doc format (word standard) I have the first iPad 3G and would never be without it, interent anywhere and it is pretty quick. Great for video content as well. Not the best eReader though.

    Tablet computers vs. Kindle Fire

Interesting, I must admit I have not tried to activate a new phone on iOS 5 but you are supposed to be able to. It was one of the biggest selling points of iOS 5 both for iPad and iPhone. I wonder if that is carrier specific.

    Tablet computers vs. Kindle Fire

Kindle Fire will use Whispersync but it is not true that the iPad has to be connected to a computer anymore not since iOS 5, it is completely computer free now. That is if you want it to be. Think screen size and usage.

    Me!

Hi everyone, just joined the forum. It is very hard to find a good food/cooking forum out there but this one looks like the place to stay! I look forward to getting to know everyone. Freddy
