I'd forgotten I was a member of this group until an email message appeared in my inbox. I'm not a "Valley Girl"... rather a "Galley Girl". I have a boat, hence the Galley Girl reference. I'm in Orange County and my sailboat is in Huntington Beach. :smile:

SoCal Burgers :chef: I have a copycat recipe for In and Out Burgers that I make sometimes.:lol::rolleyes: I've never had a Tommy's and I've lived here for over 50 years. Will have to search for one here in the OC. I think they are mostly in the Los Angeles area.

Thanks for the nice welcome. I know I'll have fun here........ I'm trying to rescue the pork chops I was cooking for dinner before I got caught up in subscribing to this sight!!! They are somewhat over-cooked but "save-able", I think... !!! Otherwise I'll have to go to Plan "B"......

I love cooking and collecting recipe books. In the tiny galley on my little sailboat I have to sit down while cooking... the only thing I can't do there is bake bread, etc., but I'm trying to figure out a way to do that. I'm exciting about finding this website and hope to learn much from all...
