Last year I could get a bunch of groceries for about $100 with coupons it would be like $10. But it seems like now the prices have gone up and the coupons are just not that great. Now we only save about $10-20 if we're lucky. We try to stay within $200-300 a month but sometimes we go over.

I love their fresh Salsa and Guacamole dip. It's the next best thing compared to homemade. :biggrin:

LOL @ Gummi Worms. I myself wouldn't eat bugs. I have a hard enough time eating something a bug landed on ..

I myself first let the greens soak in the water then give them a good swoosh around. Then I rinse and drain in the spinner.

I love to stir fry my beef/chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic salt, fresh garlic, duck sauce, chinese mustard, and beef broth. Comes out soo good. I sometimes add a pinch of ginger. My mom's recipe from years ago,.. She always served it over white rice.

I like my salad spinner, I use it for herbs as well.. I've noticed a cleaner taste with them, only complaint is sometimes they will get a little bruised.

My DH has been trying for 6 years. So far he has taken the Civil Service Test 3 times. (Only 1 test every two years) He has gotten a 85, 90, 93. It's soo hard because there is hundreds of people who got the same scores and thousands who got a better score.. There is also a cut off age I believe...

If it's on a sale rack for our stores it's most likely rotten. I got a package that had green peppers which looked fine but smelled when I opened them. I love Produce Junction. They have it in South Jersey. I usually can find what I need there for a fraction of the price of the grocery store...

I love Lawry's Garlic salt on my chicken breasts/steaks/porkchops. I always use garlic salt and lemon pepper, can't go wrong with those! They are staples in my house :)

My oven is broken until someone can come fix it next week. So I'm thinking about getting a crock pot.. I've always wanted one so now I have an excuse :chef: I am interested in the Set N Forget by Hamilton Beach, I almost got the Stay and Go by Hamilton Beach, but want to actually have some input...
