    Mold on Jerk Seasoning

    I had a jar of jerk seasoning that was not refrigerated and it developed what looks like mold on it. It is an extremely hot seasoning that has dutch bonnet pepper in it as well as citric acid. I didn't think such a hot and spicy sauce could go bad. Does anyone know why it looks like that...
