    Tivo - your opinion

Tivo launched yesterday and with all you guys said, and my own research I deceided to buy one. Installation was quaick and painless. I have used it a little bit so far, seems great. Only really had about two hours to play with it though. We also bought a new 46" plasma TV so I was also playing...

    Our baby ultrasound

We have a three year old and a two year so we certainly know that pain, But I can't really complain, our kids are both fantastic.

    Our baby ultrasound

We didnt hear the heart beat on this one. We have a midwives appointment this weekend so will hear the heartbeat for the first time then. We saw the heart beating though through the ultrasound. Could see the chambers of the heart closing and opening and the overall heart pumping. Amazing. And...

    Our baby ultrasound

Basically, you take one decent sized long roll, on a hot plate you dump a mix of beef or chicken etc, then...

    Resting meat

Ah, so that was my next question. Surely if you are letting something rest for 20 minutes or more, it is going to be cold by the time you eat. I will try the cling wrap loose cover next time and see how it goes. Thanks again for the advice.

What's the last movie you watched?

We just went to see Batman last night. A great movie and another good step forward for the new Batman series. Heath was great as the Joker and totally over shadowed Batman in the movie. Looking forward to the next one.

    Resting meat

I have read that you should rest meat after it has been cooked. Something about the muscles or something relaxing and it will be much tenderer. I have also read that you should rest the meat for as long as you have cooked it. Meaning if I oven roast a steak or something for 8 minutes I should...
