    Definitely cayenne. I don't know if anyone's seen this, but mccormick has an analyzer on their website to tell you how fresh your spices are. Also, if your mccormick spices are from Baltimore they are over 15 years old. Yikes!

    Bacon is so much better than ham, yessir! My first thought related to bacon is the Spanglish Sandwich (google it - it's very popular!) on toasted bread with mayo, melted cheese, butter lettuce, sliced tomato and an egg (or if you're like me, forget the egg). I hope we're not counting calories...

    Mmm soy sauce. It's really too bad it has such high sodium or I'd cook with it more often. I make a lovely spicy broccoli chicken dish that uses Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Sauce - it's thick and comes in a jar. It's not really saucy in the recipe, but more of a coating. Delicious with cashews...

    Hello everyone, I live in sunny southern California and cook for my husband (dearest man chugs down everything I've concocted) and two boys with picky tongues. My favorite dishes are Asian, so I'll be paying particular attention to any threads tasting thereof.
