As far as I know most herbs and vegetables like to be in well drained moist soil that is watered on a regular schedule. Every two or three days is usually enough, but really just check the soil by putting your finger and feeling how wet the soil is to tell for sure.

I pretty much would think the term "organic" has been co opted by big business to a large extent reducing the overall value of anything being organic. The waters on what is or is not organic has gotten muddy.

Just wanted to say high. Found the forum searching and looks like there is a lot of info for a new cook like me. I hate to say it I never really had to cook for myself before so I'm excited and a little bit nervous! So anyhow just wanted to say hi! and that Im a happy I found this forum.
