    Thanks! It's always nice to meet another cajun. :) That's interesting... I'll keep that in mind about the extra salt. It's good to keep an eye on your sodium intake. And I love salt, and seasonings, so cutting it out of the rice probably would help and wouldn't change the flavor much.

    Different strokes for different folks, my friends. Why wouldn't you add salt? This is rice for beans and rice, or stews, not some pilaf.     Easiest way to make something edible from whole-wheat flour?

    You don't have access to an oven... but if I were you, I'd freeze it and try for cinnamon rolls when you do get close to an oven! :D My mom used to make whole wheat cinnamon rolls, and they were not bad.

    What's for Dinner Thurs. Jan. 14, 2010?

    I made Rosemary Spaghetti Sauce from scratch - my own recipe. Also sauteed potatoes on the side. I have no pictures, and it was not fancy, but it sure was delish!
