    I've been rendering fat from, 10 lbs. of bacon end pieces, in a big cast-iron pot (via the oven) while simultaneously cooking pinto beans on the stove.     Man, you guys have some nice historical pieces. I love the Victorian era. They loved worldly décor and its neat to see the way they incorporated it into their homes. My mother has a similar lamp that is inspired by Egypt.

    Ooh, that actually doesn't sound half bad. The kids can make then for my grandson for quick freezer lunches to make mommy's day a bit easier. I bet I could make all sorts of things like the snowman, like farm animals maybe? I'll have to experiment. Thanks for the idea :chef:

    Well, food porn may be on your way, dear Addie. Was going to make my bread tomorrow and my littlest is at the age to learn the recipe. I was going to take pictures for my mother so, it would be easy to send a few this way. :D
