    all of the above herbs and combinations are great. i personally love olive tapenades also. i think you could tweak this concept to make a nice dipping oil.

    if you want to incorporate potatoes, here's what i would do. make a regular flour based pasta. i would also make a traditional type sauce. then i would get some chicken breasts and new potatoes and marinate them in some garlic, olive oil, rosemary and a little lemon. either grill or roast...

    you should be able to find wild mushrooms at any high end grocery store (whole foods, gelson's, bristol farms). have you ever made risotto before? it's not that difficult, just time comsuming if you do it the right way.
