    How to cook bacon?

In America I cooked bacon in the microwave and in the oven at 400, but I have qualms about using newspaper with no paper towels, and I don't know how to catch the grease in a small toaster oven. Newspapers here seem the same as in America at first glance, but I wouldn't be surprised if there...

    Salad dressing with unconventional ingredients

Here in China I don't have 24-hour internet access, or a flush toilet, like you in America. I do appreciate the input, but I cannot say so at the drop of a hat. I would now like to thank everyone for their suggestions! I hope it works out.

    Salad dressing with unconventional ingredients

Sounds like Russian dressing. I was hoping for a bit more like Bleu cheese or Mediterranean, but then I don't have the critical ingredient for the former.

I've had potatoes cooked in coconut milk several times in Thai and Malaysian restaurants in NY, and I've done it myself at home. It's great!

    Salad dressing with unconventional ingredients

I am an American living in Central China. In Shanghai and Beijing, you can buy anything American in the supermarket. Even in my city, I can buy salad dressing if I take a taxi to the suburbs and am willing to pay US$20 for a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch. However. Yesterday I was in a...

I too would like to know about this non-spicy yellow curry. I happen to live two blocks from the biggest Indian supermarket in America, but I have NO idea what to look for when I'm there.
