A belated Happy Birthday to the best sister who made the most amazing wedding cake!!!

There are so many ways I love potatoes, I'm not sure I can say which way is my favorite. I love mashed, baked, fried, hash browns, scalloped, roasted, au gratin with ham, and in stews. I can't think of any way I wouldn't want to eat a potato.

We are ordering out tonight. Maybe chinese or indian. One of the things I love about New York is all the different kinds of food you can get delivered to your door.

My fiance is really excited. I like 24 but get really annoyed when I have to wait a whole week for another episode. The cliff hangers kill me. The actress who plays Chloe use to be on a comedy show called "Mr. Show" with David Cross and Bob Odenkirk. It's interesting to see her in a comedic role.

We're having green chile stew that I made yesterday. I'm really looking forward to it, (it's usually better on the second day). Then I'm going to make some tortillas from scratch. I don't do that often but when I do, they are so delicious! I can't wait.

In New Mexico on New Year's Eve, it is traditional to eat posole. Even though I'm not going home this year, I think some of my New Mexican friends and I are going to make it here in New York anyway, for the sake of tradition.

My fiance insists on watching this movie every Christmas season. Tonight I knew I was hooked when I ran into the living room to watch the charleston dance scene.

That is sad to hear Ishbel. I think it's been about 5 years since my last trip to Scotland. I went with my sister, Corazon, and we had a great time. It's upsetting how things are changing like that everywhere.

I've been to Jenner's before. It's one of my favorite places to go in Edinburgh. Every time we go to Scotland since I was little, we've gone to Jenner's. I've never been to Crawfords though. Maybe on the next trip.
