My son doesn't like any green veggie

My brother used to be like that too But he eats vegetables in "gratin" I don't know the word in english, especially zucchinis. He loves it in quiche too (salted tarts) Spinach, zucchinis, broccolis, everything in a quiche is ok Otherwise mashed potatoes + carrots is fine too !

Oh oh oh I've found the perfect topic :) I took note of the wines you'v named, can I find them at trader's joe ? I had already tried the Kendall Jackson's reserve and we really liked it As a french who has a country house among burgandy wineries, I really love wines and I was thrilled that...

    Layering flavors?

I put salt like 2 to 4 times during cooking, not all at the same time, but I don't put it after each ingredients either... It depends what you cook, you cook meet, you season it, then you add vegetables, you season it again, then you will add a sauce with tomatoes and mushroom, one more hint of...

    Best show on TV

I agree for Grimm, we found it kind of interesting :) It may be the only new show we are going to watch this fall. Among the old ones, we love Breaking Bad, Dexter, Game of Throne, Mad men... I may forgot some :) We also like fringe, the good wife and we follow grey's anatomy and desperate...

That's great keep going like that :) I've recently helped my dad to lose weight. Little by little, I spent a few months in France at their place so I started right away. First, I was in charge of its meal and of what was in the fridge (no tentations, no eating) I made him what he liked, even...

    Thanksgiving Meal Ideas

Last year we had a home made carrot cake for dessert and the traditionnal turkey + cranberry sauce with sweet potatoes and green beans. But this year we might do a roadtrip for thanksgiving... so I don't think we're going to cook anything ! The crown roast seems great actually... I miss roasts :(

    Financier (how to use eggwhites)

Take xD Well that's actually what I do ^^' I didn't know the english name I didn't use it at first, but I've read a recipe from a chef who explained it for the financier, so I tried. That's why I propose both ways to use the butter in the recipe. Should I change the terms of hazelnut shade by...

    Financier (how to use eggwhites)

Oh my ! don't yake it like, it's one of my favourite cake and there is no sexist place like that in France :o It was an historical context that's all, just like chocotuile said ^^' I don't even know browned butter actually ^^' when you melt it in the casserole it gets brownish...

    Financier (how to use eggwhites)

Because it's often served for businessmen coffee breaks, or in high class pastry/coffee shops in France for them. I don't know exactly how it happened at first, but that's how it is. Th original recipe is french, then the swiss shaped it in a gold bar and made it the "financial cake" That's all...
