    How To Shrink Your Stomach

The Web MD article is based on what Dr. Moyad says. I'm curious to know what other doctors say about whether or not the stomach muscle can shrink if you are an adult. I know people who were very sick and couldn't eat much for a while. After they were well, they were unable to hold much food...

    How To Shrink Your Stomach

The stomach is a muscle. If you eat more, it stretches. If you eat less, over time it contracts. As I said, this isn't for people who only eat 'healthy food', unless someone can come up with some single-serving meals that are 300 calories or less, and would fill a person up for at least 3...

    How To Shrink Your Stomach

Out of curiosity, I looked online to find out how people are shrinking their stomach so that they eat less. Looks like they are eating 300 calories every 3 hours. So to lose weight, if someone wanted to consume 1500 calories per day, they would eat 5 times a day. Five times might sound like a...

    Pasta Boat

No, but you could if you wanted. I usually add the salt to the pasta sauce.

    Pasta Boat

This is one of those gadgets I use almost daily. I bought it when they first came out several years ago and have loved it ever since. You just throw in a specific amount of pasta (you can make a lot of pasta at one time, or just 2 servings), fill with water to a specific line and nuke for a...

    Air Fryer help

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to answer this question. If you get smoke, the temperature is probably too high. I cook burgers at 320 degrees, and turn it over once or twice during cook time. I use the lower heat for things like burgers that start out raw and have to be cooked well...

    Pressure Cooker/Slow Cooker/Crock Pot-Forum

I agree that slow cookers cook the flavor out of foods, that is why I rarely used mine until I discovered a way to make it work well for me. Whether it is a roast, pork chops, chicken or what have you, in the crock pot I stir 2 teaspoons of salt into 2 cups of water, then add the meat...

    Air Fryer help

I have an air fryer and use it every day, it lives on the kitchen counter. I do cook hamburgers in it and they taste great, as long as you don't smash the juice out of them with the spatula while cooking, they come out extra juicy. When I want to make something with crumbled hamburger, I make...

Am I allowed to post a link to one of the news articles about this?

    Fruit/Veggies to go up 300%

It was on the news today that the bad weather has affected so many crops that all asparagus crops have been ruined, all fruits and vegetables have been affected except apples, onions and potatoes. Prices will be going up by 300%, and some have already raised their prices.

Cookbook made with HTML or other?

Thanks, I'll check it out. I took a look at the Help file in my word processor to see what it could do. Since it can do a lot of the things that you can do with HTML, it looks to me like a word processor is basically a HTML editor.

Cookbook made with HTML or other?

I don't have a lot of experience with word processors, can you do an index with links to other documents, as you can with HTML? Also, can you insert an image and have text running alongside the image, or can you only place text above and below the image?

Cookbook made with HTML or other?

Microsoft wants a lot for their Microsoft Office, so I don't use Word. My computer had Works on it, but when that crashed, the new computer had a different word processor on it and it wouldn't open Works documents, so all that typing was wasted. I didn't want to use the new word processor...

    I'm flabbergasted

Fried Corn 6 ears corn 2 tablespoons bacon drippings or butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Slice the corn from the cob. To get the 'pulp' from the cobs, scrape each cob (downward) with the edge of the knife. Heat the drippings or butter in a heavy skillet...
