    So basically, making kefir with pasteurized milk is useless. You have to take the pasteurized milk, add the desired bacterial cultures, and then add the cultured/pasteurized milk to the kefir grains. That's the only way to get the benefits of the necessary "good" bacteria our digestive tract...
