Hi, I'm not too sure, but I think a muffin top pan is more shallow, so you get more top (which a lot of people like best) and less bottom of the muffin if you know what I mean. Others may have more insight on this though :smile:

Hi all, I'm new here! I have been quite obsessed with muffins lately! My main aim is to make the top of the muffin crispy, while the inside is still soft (like the ones they sell at my cafe!) Does anyone have any hints or recipes that do this? I have tried adding sugar/butter mixture on top...
