Sounds to me like the pull date must have been off. I've seen it happen too, but only with forgotten products that were buried in the freezer months past their expiration
I've never understood why anyone would volunteer their restaurant for Kichen Nightmares. Even if he gives it a great makeover, he still trashes it horrendously to start and that's what viewers and potential diners will remember.

I can't stand to cook in the morning, plus I never have time. Sorry to say it, but Cereal is my preferred breakfast these days. Give me a big bowl of Honey Buches of Oats and I'm good.
