I started cooking in a cooking club at NC State University as I thought one day it may be a good skill to have. Unfortunately I began to love cooking and have since dedicated quite a large amount of time to it. In late 2009 I could not find a resource on the internet to tell me what I could cook with the things I had on hand, so I started writing a personal app that would let me do that. Between the programming about cooking, cooking, and shopping for sweet knives and pots... I've been consumed (Yay food puns!)
