thanks for the tips. we're still not *positive* what caused the problem, but it looks like we may have packed down the chard too tightly.
i noticed the price sticker on one jar was $1.99. that seems quite expensive for [almost] regular ole salt.
i'm looking to buy a few cases .. just in case. can anyone suggest a good 'bulk' source? in fact .. IS this stuff sold in 'bulk'?
