Who told that borsch is traditionally Ukraine dish? I always thought that this is traditional Polish soup. It sounds like in Ukraine there is nothing to be proud of.
I like to eat beet soup cold and warm, with sour cream and a little crushed garlic. My grandmother cooked borsch with fish but unfortunately he is dead and I don't have this recipe. If some one have please share!

I come from a house where my mother cooked every day to dinner soups. My favorite was chicken soup with dumplings. Now that I'm 35 and cook a lot of complicated dishes but I still like a good old fashioned soup with dumplings. Thank you for grate recipe.
