Whats your favorite food network show?

Right before my job let out for the summer, I broke my leg. I spend a lot of time watching the Food Network, and my mom just doesn't understand why I do. She thinks it's because I'm hungry. I told her it's because I want to get new ideas. She still doesn't get it. I'm just glad to see...

How do you make your Popcorn?

Now I want to try stove top popcorn! I don't really remember making popcorn any other way but the microwave. Just curious....what do you put on for seasonings? Oh, and one time, I tried to put melted butter on my popcorn, and it like...melted, dissentegrated. Any suggestions?

    Leftover coffee uses?

I don't drink much coffee, but I love making coffee shakes. I used to work at an IHOP, and that's where I made most of my shake experiments. I made a coffee or mocha one a LOT. I actually used hot coffee in the shakes, but I got the technique down to where I could use the coffee and ice cream...

    Recipes for Children

Well, for my major, it's Early Childhood through 4th grade, so any recipes for that age range would be appropriate. You did make an excellent point, though, StirBlue, and I thank you for pointing that out. The cracker stacks would definitely test some motor skills.

    Recipes for Children

Thanks for clearing that up with the dessert sushi. I'd love to include that in my resource collection for my class. I'd want to give proper credits, so you can PM me if this was your idea for who to give credit to. If it wasn't your idea, a website would be most helpful. My mouth is still...

    Recipes for Children

I actually thought of fruit salad after I made this post. I have a 3 y/o daughter, and we sing a song called "Fruit Salad." I LOVE the Dessert Sushi idea. How would you roll the Rice Krispy Treats? Or would you just make them thin? This is a fantastic idea. I was wanting to try...

    Recipes for Children

I need some help. I have to come up with two recipes that are suitable for children to use at school for one of the classes I'm taking. I am an Early Childhood Education major, and I was thinking of maybe some no-cook recipes or ones that use the microwave or something simple. The example in...

    Using cake scraps

    Strawberry Daquiri Jello Shots

Aaaahhh, Jell-O shots! I have a friend who made great Jell-O shots. We used to waitress, and she would take home those 2-oz. portion cups w/ lids to transport them. One time, she brought 2 paper bags full (bigger than lunch and smaller than grocery) and didn't tell the boss she brought them...
