    Have you cooked with Quorn?

I made the pot pies, and they turned out great. Just one thing I didn't consider: Quorn doesnt shrink when cooked, so you have to use less Quorn than the recipe's measurements for meat. Ill definitely make it again, but with probably half the amount.

    HFCS Commercial

If the govt would end price controls on sugar, the HFCS folks would not be able to match the price. We'd have sugar in our sodas and the price of corn (as food) would lower.

Help me remember this Chinese chicken dish.

I lost the cookbook, but this is what I can remember: Use cubed chicken, covered in cornstarch then fried. Sauce is a sweet, orange or duck sauce spiced with finely chopped chiles and with green onions. Of course I'm forgetting some other ingredients. Does this sound familiar? Help!

    Storing Cheese

Don't freeze cheese. I read that in my America's Test Kitchen cookbook. Also- beware of cheese sold pre-shredded. Drying chemicals are added to keep the shreds from sticking to each other, so you end up with unnaturally dry cheese.
