    How often do you make (and have) dessert?

    I make something sweet at least once a week. Normally we eat a small piece after supper and I'll send the rest with dh to work the next day to share. I just enjoy baking and trying new recipes, but I don't want the sweets hanging around tempting me.

    I use a combo of: onion garlic salt & pepper hot sauce mustard seed curry pwd jalepeno peppers crushed red pepper peppercorns This was a recipe I found years ago on the net and I just tweaked it.

    No I agree wholeheartedly. I am forever complaining to my dh about this sort of thing. When watching FoodNetwork I see it all of the time and have said the same as you. I know when to make adjustments and rarely follow a recipe as written anyway, but for someone learning how to cook it...
