I am probably telling you something you already know but about 4 weeks ago it was all over the news that there was no butter on shelves in Japan. Food shortages are going to become a way of life I think in the future.

I dont know about Lemon Pepper, too much salt for me. My wife laughs at my no tell ingredient. Its straight lemon and or lime juice. It gives a little something to every dish. I even put it in my spaghetti sauce.
You should be able to added it dry with your other dry items. I have baked with powdered whole eggs before and they were added dry. You just need to modify the liquid you add.
No way! When I was a young Marine I went home with a buddy, his grandmother was from Mexico, she was cooking, not sure if she was roasting or what, some type of hot peper. I didnt last a minute in the kitchen. I literally felt like Id been gased.
I like to use spanish olive oil when I do this. Additionally depending on what I am cook I will lace it with herbs. Adds a little suprise to butter bread. Becareful with the herbs some can be a bit over powering. All I can say is experiment.

We are going to be there real soon. The biggest problem I see is in the US our entire URBAN/Suburban master plan formulated after world war ii is predicated on cheap oil. Well oil isnt cheap anymore. We need a major overhaul in thinking now.
