My parents have this roaster from when my grandmother died years ago and I wondered if anyone had one of these things? Bread machine v. kneaded by hand

If you have 3 packets of yeast you have a start, check for an experation date on the package. You can use this yeast if its labeled for BM's, but let the yeast come to room temperature before starting. If the package does not say "for use for BM's" there is the flieschmanns brand in a jar and...

Bread machine v. kneaded by hand

I never thought of just making bread & pizza dough in a BM. I'm a purist since I watched my mother making it by hand, I did try it with her stand mixer but felt uncomfortable that it didnt look the same as the hand method:sad:

Bread machine v. kneaded by hand

I've never thought of that, the way i see it is that if you don't have enough time to make bread by hand aBM is the way to go-mixes and bakes in one unit.

How do you season cast iron?

Hardware stores are a good start for CI and sporting goods stores(Bass? Gander Mtn,) would have them. the easiest way to know if a store has CI is to ask. you can also google cast iron cookware that will have more than enough websites to find what you want.

How do you season cast iron?

Kellyk How you season cast iron depends on who made it and what kind it is(enamel, regular?). I have plain cast iron and I season it by first turning on my oven to 350 degrees and putting a foil covered pan on the lowest shelf. I then coat my CI with cooking oil & invert on the middle shelf &...

    Favorite Hotdog Brand

The only hot dog that makes it past my teeth are the Hoffman's snappy griller's. I like these because i don't have to put mustard on them, just ketchup.
