Study finds ORGANIC FOODS are not Better

I'd figure it's quite obvious that an organic apple and an apple sprayed with pesticides would have the same nutritional value, they are made up of the same thing, lol. I choose to eat organic with certain foods, and others when I can afford it because I don't like the idea of my foods being...

    The ultimate grilled cheese?

I deffo have to say 2 slices of sourdough bread, slices of fresh tomato and the sharpest cheddar cheese I can get my hands on. Grilled with butter in the pan, not put on the bread. Serve cut in half, so you don't have to eat the crusts first! ;)

    Aioli

yes, the oil needs to be drizzled in ever so slowly. The slower the better, really. It needs to emulsify. I had to do this many times at my old job. It can be sooo tedious, but well worth it!

    Opposite tastes

My guy and I appear to have COMPLETELY different tastes in food. I am a health food junkie and he is not. He does not even like vegetables, except onions, while I do not like eating fried foods and processed meats. Anyone have any ideas as to where we can reach a middle ground? :ermm:

    Homemade tortilla chips?

I've made them just by cutting up tortillas and frying them in a pan with a little oil and salt. I was wondering if anyone had different variants on this, perhaps to make them spicy, or a bit more flavorful? :) Discuss!

I need to flavor noodles w/out using dairy or gluten

Pesto is good. I also like to put olive oil, fresh basil, tomato salt and pepper :) Nutritional yeast with a little bit of tamari is also good.

    Blueberry Smoothie

Instead of the vanilla ice cream, could you perhaps substitute silken tofu and a little bit of vanilla extract and maple syrup/honey, or something? :) If you're trying to do the whole diet/protein/health smoothie, that is :P

I just ordered a 1/4 pound of vanilla beans, and I'd really love to make something sweet and delicious with them. Anyone have any ideas? :) I'm kind of new to the whole cooking world.
