The first meal I made as a new bride many years ago was spaghetti. I dished up the spaghetti onto a plate and set it in front of my new husband. The spaghetti slid off the plate and landed in his lap! A few weeks later, I dumped a rhubarb mereingue pie top down in my oven as I was taking it...

How do you organize your recipes??

I have all of my recipies on my computer. I also have a hard copy as well as a CD backup. Whenever I try a new recipie, if I want to make it again, I put on my recipie file on my computer. It is also handy when someone wants a recipe. I can either print if off or email it to them.

I know, I can't wait to get back also. When we went to Sligo and Donegal, we also drove to Cavan and stayed at the Cavan Castle. We also went to a place called magic hill, which is a very unique experience.

We will be traveling through the southern part of Ireland this trip. We will land in Shannon, see the Cliffs of Moher, and then go to Dingle, Killarney, Waterford, and then on to Dublin. In 2003, we toured the northwest part of Ireland through Sligo, to Donegal, and into Northern Ireland. I...

What does "from scratch" mean to you??

I like the term "half scratch" as I cooked that way quite a bit. I do bake from scratch, but much of my cooking is "half scratch."
