    Olive oil and foodnetwork...

    So I notice on alot of food network shows, alot of the different chefs like to use olive oil, and they have it in a clear glass jar. And alot of times when they use it, they keep pouring and pouring and pouring and almost half the jar is gone... i mean...isn't that kinda costly if you do that...

    Raw salmon for sushi/etc.

    Is there a way to find out if the salmon you buy is safe to eat raw? Cuz there's all that risk of food poisoning or whatever from eating raw meat. I've had raw beef before too, is this stuff you just wanna do at restaurants or is it possible to do this at home too?

    Whats that ingredient?!

    I need heavy cream and whole milk. So...I couldn't find them in the grocery store. But I do have vitamin D milk at home that I use for cereal...is that the same thing? And for the heavy cream, I found heavy "whipping" cream. Is that the same as heavy cream?

    Does anyone know where I can find Rose Water?

    I wanna try to make "Raspberry Rose Pots de Creme" from food network and it says I need rose water with a * next to it saying "Can be found at specialty gourmet markets." I have no clue where to look :sad: Anyone know where to find rose water? hopefully in the bay area D:
