Chicken feet - a delicacy in the Caribbean as well. Try it pickled, and stewed. I love 'em!

What to serve as a side to gnudi?

I agree a nice fresh summer salad would be the perfect compliment. Add in some olives, whatever you like and drizzle with some balsamic vinaigrette.

    Dinner Thursday June 18, 2009

    Ceramic Knives

Ceramic Knives are excellent for slicing and cutting through boneless meat, vegetables and fruits. They don't rust, they are chemically inert to both acids and alkalis, and they can retain a cutting edge up to ten times longer than forged metal knives.

    Making vegetables more flavoursome?

I add flavor to my veggies by cooking them with onion, garlic and black pepper. Sometimes I add cajun pepper to spice things up a little. Also adding some butter to steamed veggies is very tasty.

I have some leftover pot roast (which was oh so good the first time around!) and some flour tortillas - so I plan to make some yummy beef quesadillas. Can't wait for dinnertime to come.

    Differences in cooking oils?

Andy M and Hoot said everything I would think to say. If you would like to know more about the different types of oils there are some good health food books that list the properties and what each type of oil is good for.
