    I am enjoying purchasing from online shops nowadays, seems to me that coupon sites are really a big help for those wanting to afford great buys without spending too much. For all my kitchen needs, I go to Online Kitchen Depot. :chef:

    Great tips you got here. But like jennyema, I've used the dishwasher to wash the pressure cooker, too. Almost five years, in fact. :)

    I agree with TheMetalChef. It's best to keep the mushrooms dry and dark in the fridge. I wouldn't know if it matters but I keep them in the refrigerator shelf rather than in the crisper.

    I agree. If the water was still cold when you found it then I think it's still okay. But if not then I'd go with my guts. I'd probably cook it, anyway, and just make sure it's cooked well.

    I was actually surprised when I first read you have to throw the marinade after soaking the meat in it for some time because growing up, my mother would use some of it for the sauce in food such as steaks. In short, we've tried using and reusing the marinade. I guess it's okay.

    I do wash the vegetables before storing them in the fridge. Only to wash again when it's time for me to cook them. So thanks for the tips here. I guess I won't have to wash them if I intend not to cook them so soon. :smile:
