    Quick pasta meal

Sometimes on lunch break from school I'll make a pack of ramen, while the waters going (what does that take like 3 minutes?) I melt some butter, add a little lemon juice, and throw in some capers. Toss it with the noodles and finish with some cracked pepper and fresh grated parm. Super fast...

Le Creuset - Should I regret it?

I bought one of those pots from Sam's Club and I could be wrong but I believe they're made by Lodge just with the Sam's Club private label. I got mine last year and I think its fantastic. Of course I've never had a le creuset so I guess I don't know what I'm missing. But I refer to it as the...

    Making time to cook/Cooking efficiently

I save time by prepping any veggies I can on the weekends or just buying the pre-frozen onions, peppers, etc. I also found a good way to spice a boring pork chop or piece of chicken is to make my own spice mixes when I get some time. It doesn't take much time to fix a piece of chicken and a few...

    Leftover Radishes

I bought a bag of radishes to put on the veggie tray at christmas since I have a family member who loves them. Of course they only ate a few and now I have a whole bag of radishes left. What do I do with them? I don't mind snacking on them but I know I won't eat that whole bag. Any ideas?

    Baked Macaroni and Cheese

This is how my grandma did it, only I thought she added flour too. Maybe I'll try it without the flour, maybe that's how I keep screwing it up. Thanks AuntieV! I did bake mac n cheese for the holidays. I made the white sauce and then melted cheese in. I didn't use velveeta, just what I had on...

    Baked Macaroni and Cheese

I am looking for some tips and ideas for a really great baked macaroni and cheese. Questions about a whole chicken.

I love to roast chicken! I bought one of those cheap beer can chicken holders and use it to prop up the chicken without the beer. I make an herb seasoning mix and rub that under the skin and then put melted butter under as well. Throw an onion or lemon in the neck opening and throw the whole...
