brittle disaster Thanks for the input. I got the recipe from Julia CHilds famous book, the Way to Cook. Also, I tried a recipe with butter too... that didn;t work either I am wondering if I was just shy of hard crack... not too sure. I may give your recipe a go. I'll let you know...
