    Protein free bread

A friend called me for advise about protein free bread. She is caring for a person with Parkinson disease and the medication will be non effective is protein food is ingested. She said she found a protein free flour but would like to enhance the flavor with some other ingredients. Any suggestions?

    A Reintroduction

I have been part of this forum for several years but I feel like a new member since I have not been actively participating in the last two years. It took me that long to reacquaint myself with the land I had left 34 years ago. After two years of living in Italy I finally feel like I belong here...

I was told to freeze it. Then I was told not to freeze it, and keep it at room temperature otherwise it separates. Who to believe?

    Eggplant

Eggplant is one of my favorite appetizers. Just slice them, grill and top them with some pesto sauce. I use Barilla pesto sauce diluted with more extra virgin olive oil. Easy and tasty.

I am fortunate to have so much fresh fish available, but I am running out of ideas for different preparations. I catch a fish called Jurell (Jack Crevalle) that has a very strong red flesh. I thought a good sauce would minimize the strong flavor. Any suggestion?

    Coconuts

I always presumed that what comes out of coconuts was coconut milk: thick, white, sweet, and very caloric. I was surprised when I cut my first coconut to find that what was coming out was a clear liquid, not very sweet and with just a light coconut taste. It is a wonderful and refreshing drink...

Thank you for welcoming me into this community

As I timidly stepped my foot into the door with a short introduction, I would like to add some more information about myself. I was a chef-owner for 12 years, the best and most productive years of my life. So I thought…. The restaurant was my life and my home. I loved it so much that I could...
