    We are having pasta with sausage...I can't seem to get enough of it lately! Oh, and a green salad, too.

    Does Anyone Do Tablescapes?

    Do any of you do tablescapes? If so, please share them. I have a blog where I do weekly tablescapes...Here is the table for this week. I used an old betta fishbowl for the centerpiece...just hung candy canes around it and plopped in an ivy plant.

    Quick and easy...fish sticks, mashed garden potatoes with Gorgonzola, fresh wax beans and pumpkin pie for dessert.

    I think we will have pasta with sausage and fire-roasted tomatoes. For dessert I might be able to find a pie or two that didn't get eaten the other day...need it gone!

    I need a stand mixer!

    I have had a Magic Mill for over 20 years, it has never gotten hot or bogged down. It will hold about 14-15 lbs of dough at a time. I used to make 20 -25 loaves of bread on weekends to take to the office on Monday mornings.:yum: They are quite expensive now compared to what I paid for mine.

    The ones around here have gone downhill, they are not very clean and the food has been mediocre at best. When they first opened they were excellent.

    I have a piece of frozen halibut that I will be cooking for dinner. Maybe roasted potatoes and green beans or maybe just a salad...will decide in a few hours!

    What is with the price of onions?

    I don't know why onions are so expensive but they have been for over a year in my area. I bought some Saturday at $1.99 lb. I hated paying that price but I can't cook without them!

    Shrimp marinated in Thai red curry paste/garlic/ginger/lime...probably with pasta and a side of green beans...unless I can think of some other way to prepare them, that sounds good!

    Cinnamon Rolls - even shapes and even cooking

    I always bake mine in round cake pans for even baking. I have tried them in jelly roll pans and the centers never get done at the same time the ones around the edges do.

    I have a pot of homemade vegetable beef soup that should be ready in about 15 minutes with freshly baked breadsticks. Selkie, meatloaf sounds wonderful to me!

    I made 2 large pizzas the other night, what was I thinking?...we have been eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I do believe something else will be on tomorrow's menu!:lol:

    Help! New SS Cuisinart compared to old Revere ware

    What about checking out e-Bay for some of the older Revereware? They probably would be less expensive than newer ones, too.

    Seafood! I love fried whole-bellied clams...glad I don't live in New England any longer where I could get them all the time...couldn't be real healthy eating them all the time.:rolleyes:
