    Crock Pot Nemesis

    I know this sounds weird...but I've been cooking a long time... and once a few years back--- I ran into some potatoes that simply would NOT cook soft. I'd not run into that before or since---- and I have to conclude that something was wrong with the potatoes and not my Crockpot or other methods...

    BBQ Chicken we made on Saturday. Quinoa and zucchini side dish, lettuce/tomato/avocado salad. My first time to cook and eat Quinoa!!

    Going on a trip in September, from Houston to Texarkana through the East Texas Pineywoods.. and looking for good places to eat.... as well as things of awe to see in East Texas. We will ride the train in Rusk, and hear there is a Country Music Show in Texarkana-- I'm in the planning stages...
