    Steamer question

    I'm making Spotted Dick for dessert tomorrow. The recipe says to put the batter in a large bowl on top of the steamer basket inside a large pot with the lid on and steam for 2 hours. However, The bowl on the steamer basket is taller than the pot. Approximately, 1/4 of the bowl is sticking out...
