What are some of your favorite comfort foods? Are they typical to your location or is it just a family type comfort meal?

^That's quite the breakfast! I'm not huge on breakfast foods, my usual go-to is cereal or a bagel. I want to be more adventurous (and healthier!) so this thread is beyond prefect to get some ideas and inspiration. Today I'm having strawberry yogurt and granola.

I just threw together a simple soup (chicken & rice), even though it's pretty warm out the soup is hearty and it'll keep me full while I'm at work tonight.

Left over chicken broth? I have about half (maybe a bit more) a carton of chicken broth, I'd like to use it up before it goes bad but I'm not too sure what to make with it. I've already made soup so I was wondering if any of you have seen and/or have recipes that use chicken broth in unique ways.

It's just about 12:30 here and it's sunny and 76 with a slight breeze, beautiful and perfect. I love days like these. Just wish I didn't have to work!!
