    i lived in tx all my life and ive been in chicago for over a year now.. and i see little difference between "tex-mex" vs mexican food... can a anyone break this down for me?

    Avocado aioli

    I'm looking for a spicy avocado aioli recipe... I ate at a restaurant in Texas called El Polio Regio, and they had this amazing hot sauce made with avocado.. I'm assuming it was an aioli sauce but I'm not sure? It's a Monterrey Mexico restaurant.. Maybe I'm wrong? Any suggestions or guidance...
