Pics from my Turducken: Better late then never

Oh and guys, if you have the time to sit down and spend half an hour deboning a turkey, the idea of a Turducken isn't nearly as intimidating as some of the forums I checked played it out to be.

Well, you can taste each flavor, though they all have a the same creole seasoning. The duck is great because it being so fatty and juicey prevents the turkey and chicken from drying out. It's best to mix a bite of duck with every piece of Turkey or chicken if possible, because it's obviously...

    Turducken: I have several questions.

Ha thanks. Yeah, the scary part is deboning a turkey without peircing the skin so it looks like a whole turkey afterwards. I practiced on sveral whole chickens the last couple months so I know I got that part down, the rest is not so bad. Just time consuming. That's good, I'm just not into...

    Turducken: I have several questions.

Yeah, that sounds like it could work, thanks. So high heat at the beginning, then low heat for most of the duration, then high at around 400 near the end to crisp it all up? I think that could work.

    Turducken: I have several questions.

    Hi, new guy here.

Hey, I'm James. I'm in Texas and preparing the Thanksgiving Turkey this year. I have made it the last couple years and it's always been good, but I want it spectacular, so you will see my post in the General Area soon enough. Thanks.
