I think offering a healthier option is a good idea. If you're with people who are ordering pizza and you're watching what you eat, it's nice to have the option.
We were going to have stuffed peppers, but got distracted by a movie and didn't get around to cooking dinner until 9, at this point it was too late. We had (packaged) pumpkin and ricotta ravioli with sage and butter.

I love breakfast, but I like to change it up. Toast with butter and jam or peanut butter or nutella, oatmeal with fruit and nuts, homemade muffins, croissants with jam, pancakes if I have the time, eggs with toast...always with coffee.
Do you want to make it into a "marinara" sauce? In that case, sauté some garlic and onion, or just garlic, add the tomato sauce, let it simmer a bit. Add some spices like oregano and salt. Check to make sure it's not too acidic. If it's too acidic add a teaspoon or so of sugar.

The meat at Subway is not good, I prefer Jimmy John's. That being said, Subway is all we have here in Switzerland, and it's few and far between. I have it when I have an intense craving for something from home.
The blueberries we get in Switzerland are terrible. They're tasteless and expensive and imported from Spain, which doesn't seem like a great place to grow blueberries.
