I couldn't find it in the FAQs or other help topics. How long does it generally take before they appear in the thread and how many of those does it take before they show when posted?

I found this site a few weeks ago, registered shortly after that, but didn't hear back and never thought to look in my spam folder. I'm glad I did and am looking forward to learn some new things as well as to add anything I can to an already great forum.
